The video below is a simple expression of how much Doug loves where he lives, works and plays. Silicon Valley is an amazing place for technology innovation. Doug gets to interact with some of the most talented technologists and business leaders that are passionate about building new innovations. This video highlights Doug’s focus areas of investment and the desire to continue the Venrock tradition of helping startups build the future.

The locations in this video are some of Doug’s favorite places in Silicon Valley. The music is ‘Solar Sailer’ by Daft Punk. The video was a combination of stock footage and aerial shots Doug took using a Phantom 2 drone via Photojojo.

NOTE: Amit Gupta (@superamit) is the co-founder of Photojojo.com. He is a leukemia cancer survivor. He is a super nice person. He gave Doug a wonderful lesson on how to fly a drone to shoot these aerial shots. We highly recommend Photojojo – great service, great people, and drones are cool.
